Jesus, Come And See

December 1, 2017 | Published in Uncategorized

Join us every Sunday at 10:30 in December to celebrate the wonder of who Jesus is this Christmas

Also, mark your calendars for December 16th at 6 pm for our Children’s Christmas Program and December 24th at 10:30 am for our Christmas Eve Service

In the hustle and bustle of the holidays, we would like to give you the opportunity to see Jesus more clearly. We hope that this Christmas we catch a glimpse of who He is, why He came, and what He is doing in our lives. There are four ways we want to invite you to do that:

Daily Reflection – Take time every day this Advent to pause, reflect, pray. For those wanting a daily reminder to meditate upon who Jesus is and why He came – text: “Christmas17” to 84576.

Generous Practice—As Jesus came to give Himself, we want to practice generosity through this time. This doesn’t mean simply giving gifts or charitable contributions, but giving of our time and our attention to those in our household, workplaces, and those in need. Would you like regular ideas? Join our Christmas text group from above, where we will share ideas to practice generosity. Text “Christmas17” to 84576.

Celebratory Worship – Our worship services this season will be both celebratory and reflective. They will include readings, specials, some of your favorite Christmas songs, and messages focused on why Jesus came, who He is, and why that matters to us today. We hope that through our worship services this December, you will know and love Jesus more and want others to know Him as well.

Friendly Invitation – Christmas is one of the best times of the year to invite your friends to church. Know anyone who has been asking you spiritual questions? Has anyone been saying they are looking for a church? Do you have a neighbor who would love to hear some Christmas Carols on Sunday? Pick up some invitations and invite them to church.

Our Misunderstood Savior

November 26, 2016 | Published in Uncategorized

“He camechristmas-16-web unto His own and His own did not receive Him.” – John, Jesus’ Disciple
Born in a stable. Raised in Poverty. Died a criminal’s death.

Jesus’ coming and His life was repeatedly and consistently misunderstood. We might wonder, why?  We might also wonder, is it possible we misunderstand Him?

This Christmas season we will explore Jesus’ coming, who He is, and get a glimpse at why He actually came. We hope that you will find Him better than you ever imagined.
